All websites log the IP addresses of their visitors, along with other details. If you are not comfortable with your personal information being stored everywhere you go, then you should hide your IP with a specialized utility. VPN Unlimited can reroute your traffic through a VPN of your choice. While connected to one of the servers, websites will log a different IP address, instead of your own. This can protect you against hackers and it is also a good way to bypass region or country related restrictions.

VPN Unlimited is free to try for 10 days, but you won't encounter any functionality restrictions or nag screens during this period. To install the application, you have to follow a few simple instructions, like selecting a destination folder and creating shortcuts. It is available for Windows and Mac OS X platforms and you can find it as an iOS app as well.

When launched for the first time, the application will take you through a tour, to explain its functionality, after which you have to create and confirm an online account. Once you log in on VPN Unlimited's user interface, the application will connect you to a VPN automatically. The current VPN status is displayed in the central region of the interface, where you can also find options for viewing additional details and changing your account's password.

By default, the application will set up an optimal connection, but you can choose a different VPN at any time, on a separate window. It is also possible to display a few traffic statistics, on the main interface. Apart from the aforementioned features, you don't have to interact with any other menus and options. You can let VPN Unlimited work in the background and select a different server, disconnect from the current one or perform other actions through a system tray icon.
